Introduction

Comprende is a fun app to help develop confidence in readers from 12 years and above, to enable them to "read between the lines". This means not only being able to understand what is actually being read, but also to take clues from the text which will help with deeper understanding.The passages have been created to develop this level of reading using various types of text from fact to fiction. They are short and of varying difficulty.The reader is required to answer multiple choice questions within a time frame.The purpose is to challenge yourself, but of course you could always compete with others!

Instructions

1. Select a passage from the main menu
2. Start reading
3. Questions will appear at varying intervals. These must be answered before you can move on.
4. You can scroll back to check if you are not sure.
5. The passages are timed and the scores will be displayed.

However the challenge is for you to improve your reading speed and accuracy, so keep reading and enjoy.
